STAUB, STILLE, STIEFELBIER

Our first editorial contribution in 2026 in the MOTORRAD Magazine features our Road to Mustang tour in Nepal. The article, loosely translated to ‘Dust, Silence, Boot Beer’ tells a story about the journey in the north of Nepal. Hidden between snow-capped Himalayan peaks, a dusty track flanked by rugged cliffs leads into the former kingdom of Mustang and to one of the deepest gorges in the world. The journey is well worth it!

Zwei abwechslungsreiche Wochen gehen schneller vorbei, als mir lieb ist. Bis zum letzten Tag überrascht mich das kleine Land an den Südhängen des Himalaja mit wildem Verkehrsgewühl, ­ fordernden „Straßen“, ausgesprochen freundlichen Menschen und vor allem der weltweit einzigartigen Naturkulisse.

This editorial contribution in the MOTORRAD magazine features our Ladakh 3 Lakes tour where we experience endless expanses, adventurous roads, foreign cultures, and the magic of the Himalayas. It would have been nice if the article mentioned this was an experience from 2017 when we still had to go camping at night! Since around 2019, we now stay in hotels throughout the tour.

Jaroslav Hubicka sought adventure and found serenity

Jaroslav Hubička, a participant in the Munich-Lhasa Tour from May to June 2024, was featured in the newspaper “Wochenblatt” in the July 25, 2024, issue. He completed the journey with Classic Bike Adventure, sharing his experiences and discoveries along the way.

I’m just with the Thais

For those who don’t want to give up riding in winter, a tour through Northern Thailand is the perfect option. Wilhelm Hahn and Anette Geiger have already packed their helmets and boots.

Aber alles ist vergessen, als im Hotel Peter und Yangs vor uns stehen. Mit den beiden habe ich schon mehrere Reisen unternommen und dabei einiges erlebt. Die Wiedersehensfreude ist deshalb groß.

Dann ist es geschafft, ich stehe auf dem höchsten Pass der Erde, dem Kardung La. Unfassbare 5606 Meter hoch, und ich grinse von einem Ohr zum anderen. Die Jungs trudeln ebenfalls ein.
